Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of CareDose, an iOS medication reminder and adherence tracking app operated by Pablo Gamero. By using CareDose, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Contact us at caredose@pablogamero.com.

License to use CareDose

Subject to these Terms, Pablo Gamero grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use CareDose on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by Apple Media Services terms and the App Store rules. CareDose is licensed, not sold.

Account responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of medication, dose, appointment, caregiver, and account information you enter. You are responsible for keeping your device, account, and credentials secure. Notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse CareDose, interfere with the service, reverse engineer the app except where law permits, attempt unauthorized access, use CareDose to violate law or another person's rights, upload harmful content, or use the service for emergency medical response. You may not rely on CareDose as your only method for remembering medications or appointments.

Subscriptions and paid plans

CareDose offers Solo, Premium, Duo, and Family plans. Solo is free. Paid plans are auto-renewing subscriptions billed through Apple. Pricing is Premium $3.99/month or $39.99/year, Duo $5.99/month or $59.99/year, and Family $9.99/month or $89.99/year. Actual prices may vary by country, taxes, currency, promotions, and App Store display.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, or as otherwise stated by Apple. Your Apple ID account is charged by Apple. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings. Refunds, billing disputes, and subscription changes are handled by Apple under Apple's policies.

Family and caregiver sharing

Paid plans include caregiver sharing seats: Premium supports sharing with 1 person, Duo supports 2 people, and Family supports up to 6 people. You are responsible for inviting only trusted caregivers and for removing access when it is no longer appropriate. Caregivers may see medication schedules, dose logs, appointment information, adherence history, and missed-dose alerts for shared schedules. Sharing is for support and convenience only and does not create a professional medical duty.

Medical disclaimer and use at your own risk

CareDose is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency response, or professional healthcare services. The app is a reminder and tracking tool only. You are solely responsible for following medical instructions, confirming medication names, timing, doses, interactions, and missed-dose guidance with qualified healthcare professionals.

Reminders, notifications, adherence reports, caregiver alerts, and app data may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, unavailable, or affected by device settings, internet connectivity, Apple services, third-party providers, battery settings, or user error. You use CareDose at your own risk. Pablo Gamero is not liable for missed doses, incorrect doses, delayed reminders, caregiver notification failures, health outcomes, or decisions made based on app content.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information, including medication and adherence data. By using CareDose, you acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

Warranty disclaimer

CareDose is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, non-infringement, and uninterrupted operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so some exclusions may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pablo Gamero and any employees, contractors, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, health-related harms, missed medication, caregiver alert failures, or service interruptions arising from or related to CareDose or these Terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of Pablo Gamero for all claims related to CareDose or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for CareDose in the 12 months before the claim or USD $100.

Termination

You may stop using CareDose at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk, misuse the service, or if we discontinue the app. Termination does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription; you must manage subscriptions through your App Store account settings.

Changes to CareDose or these Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features and may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice as required by law. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

Apple terms

Apple's standard End User License Agreement applies to CareDose unless these Terms validly supersede it. Apple is not responsible for CareDose, support, claims, maintenance, warranties, or third-party claims except as required by applicable App Store terms. You must comply with applicable Apple Media Services terms and App Store rules.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by [GOVERNING_LAW], without regard to conflict of law rules, except where consumer protection laws require another jurisdiction.
